Students will follow the National Curriculum at a level appropriate to their ability.
Upon entry to the College students are placed into settled groups so that each student
is working to his/her ability level. The setting is arranged using Key Stage 2 results
and primary school recommendations.
Students have four Maths lessons a week with one lesson weekly devoted to developing
number skills (including pencil/paper methods, strategies for mental arithmetic and
correct use of a calculator), Students will also use the college computers for a
variety of learning experiences.
