The Special Educational Needs Department has three main aims. They are:
- To provide appropriate support to enable individuals to achieve full potential.
- To help students reach independence.
- To improve the self-esteem of students.
The team of learning support assistants, managed by the co-ordinator, Mrs Hedges, provides the support that allows all students full access to the National Curriculum.
Every student is valued and encouraged to take a full and active part in all aspects of the College's daily life.
