The SHRC was opened in 1993 by Professor Stephen Hawking. It is open every school day, from 08.45 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday and 15.30 on a Friday, for use by staff and students.

The SHRC exists to support the work of staff and students by providing resources relevant to the courses taught at Manor.
